Tikal, being one of the largest Maya sites, is located in the northern Guatemalan rain forest and is often called the soul of the earth. This magical place is guaranteed to be an unforgettable adventure.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Maya of Mesoamerica reached remarkable intellectual and artistic heights as far back as 3.114B.C. when they began the calendar still in use today. They built huge temples, pyramids, stone monuments, and made major advances in mathematics and astronomy, and a hieroglyphic scripts. But the ancient civilization collapsed 950A.D. The ancient Mayas migrated to the Guatemalan highlands.
Tikal was an important center during their classic period. It is often called the soul of the earth. This magical place is guaranteed to be a great adventure. Of the park’s 222 square miles, there are over 3,000 separate buildings have been revealed: temples, shrines, ceremonial platforms, residences, ball courts, terraces, causeways and plazas. The exuberant fauna and plant life are amazing.
The easiest way to visit is through a package so that you may maximize your time and enjoyment.
We offer a ONE DAY PACKAGE and a TWO DAYS PACKAGE
We have 2 packages (see tab “Tour Packages” above) that we offer including a One Day Trip and at hotels on the Island of Flores – about one hour from Tikal National Park. The island affords more fun at night and electricity after nightfall (not available at the hotels in the Tikal National Park). We are also happy to make other accommodations for you. We offer airlines tickets with TAG many other packages. Contact us for more information to accommodate your schedule.
TIKAL ONE DAY PACKAGE

4:00AM – Shared shuttle from your hotel in Antigua to the TAG Hangar (18 calle & Avenida Hincapie zona 13 Hangar 16) . Check-in at TAG (passport required). Luggage: 1 or 2 pieces per person (60cm x 35cm x 35cm) with a maximum of 20 pounds combined.
6:30AM – One hour flight TG110 with TAG to FRS airport.
8:00AM – Meet your driver at the airport exit for a shuttle to Tikal. Observation of the scale model of Tikal and start your tour visiting: Complex Q and R, Temples I, II, III and IV, Plaza Central, Central and North Acropolis and Plaza del Mundo Perdido. Late lunch inside Tikal National Park (beverages and tip not included).
6:30PM – Flight TG111 with TAG to the TAG Hangar.
7:30PM – Shared shuttle from the TAG Hangar to your hotel in Antigua.

5:15PM – One hour flight TG120 with TAG to FRS airport. Meet hotel the driver at the FRS airport exit for the transfer to Hotel Isla de Flores in Flores.

DAY TWO
7:30AM – Shuttle from Hotel Isla de Flores in Flores to FRS airport.
8:00AM – Arrival at the FRS airport; short wait for arriving flights. Shuttle to Tikal. Observation of the scale model of Tikal and start your tour visiting: Complex Q and R, Temples I, II, III and IV, Plaza Central, Central and North Acropolis and Plaza del Mundo Perdido. Late lunch inside Tikal National Park (beverages and tip not included)
3:30PM – Shuttle from Tikal to the FRS airport. Check-in at the TAG counter (passport required). Pay Q20 airport exit fee.
6:30PM – Flight TG111 with TAG to the TAG Hangar.
7:30PM – Shared shuttle from the TAG Hangar to your hotel in Antigua.
